Only a few months after revealing their ostensibly intense and passionate romance to the world, Summer Walker revealed her separation from rapper Rico Recklezz.
According to the tale, Summer finally gave Rico a chance late last year after he had been DMing her for the previous eight years. The two have been inseparable up to this point.
This week, Summer revealed on her Instagram Story that she is once again single and that Playboi Carti will appear on her upcoming album.
“Yes, I’m single, but don’t be weird now, y’all,” Summer wrote with a professional shot of Carti and his girlfriend. I can’t even consider having sex with another man. I adore Rico. When he feels like it, he is a truly sweet guy. That’s my Pumkin for life; we’re from two different planets, so things didn’t work out the way we wanted them to. Let’s stop fabricating stories and move on.
“Thank you, Carti, for coming to add a wonderful finishing touch to my album. You were a perfect gentleman, and your wife is very funny and sweet,” she added.
“I’m literally honestly & truly over men like that’s it for me,” she added on a second slide. Let’s normalize moving on without creating a mess, although I find more peace in solitude. No rudeness, no animosity, and no disparaging remarks about one another. Everything is well on my end; it’s all love and lessons.
Rico writes on his own account, “I love my life and I love God so much. I’m so thankful n grateful. You guys just don’t know how blessed n favored I am n how good God is.” He also appears content with everything.
Hopefully, Summer Walker won’t think about the breakup too much because she has a busy few months ahead of her. She will travel as a supporting act on Chris Brown’s Breezy Bowl XX Tour in June.
When the international journey begins in Amsterdam, it will travel to stadiums across Europe and North America. In late July, it travels to the United States, where it concludes in September in Las Vegas, Breezy’s new home base.
