Hip-hop legend Fat Joe is not one to hold back, and his new remarks regarding his defeat by Chance The Rapper at the Grammy Awards over ten years ago demonstrate both his candidness and his ongoing dissatisfaction with the most prominent awards ceremony in the music business.

The rapper from the Bronx expressed his intense feelings about being “robbed” in a social media video that went viral. During a little break in the playback of his next album, The World Changed On Me, Fat Joe made the assertion. In his opening statement, he seems to attribute his renewed interest in music to Killer Mike’s recent success at the awards ceremony.

In reference to his most recent forays outside of hip-hop, Fat Joe stated, “I am busy trying to get these businesses going and get real money.”

“I phoned Jay up and said, ‘Man, f##k that,’ because Killer Mike won three Grammys, right?” he added. “Let us lock in and go back in,” I said. I would have given up if it were not for him.

The conversation took a significant turn when he started talking about how he felt after Chance the Rapper defeated his smash song “All The Way Up,” which featured Remy Ma and French Montana, at the 2017 Grammy Awards. This was his way of admitting that he thought losing to the Chicago MC was more insulting than losing to the Black Eyed Peas.

“We were robbed,” he declared. “Lean Back,” I do not know if you know, but without Fergie, we lost to the Black Eyed Peas. After that, Chance the Rapper defeated us in “All the Way Up.” That is the worst disrespect, I think.

After narrating the loss, Fat Joe acknowledged that it is a sorrow he would never be able to shake.

JAY-Z once said, “You know, you have to learn to live with regrets. He admitted, “I can not live with that one.” “Dude, Chance the Rapper is winning.”All The Way Up” was just not that, is not that, whatever his s##t was?”

Fat Joe’s annoyance extended beyond that one instance. Considering the circumstances surrounding their 2016 hit, he was incensed at the Grammys’ history of ignoring him and his partners.

“Remy gets out of jail, I come out of jail,” he added in part. “Out there, we are f###ing throwing a miracle frisbee. It is insane that you are going to give it to the s##t No. 1 in America. We have been experimenting with the Grammys for a while.

Fat Joe’s grievance over the 2017 loss isn’t his first experience with Grammy disappointments. The rapper has been nominated multiple times, including for hits such as “What’s Luv?” Despite the accolades and chart-topping success, a Grammy win has remained elusive for the Terror Squad legend, fueling his disillusionment with the institution.
